About Kingbomb Photography

I take pictures of people. I also paint portraits of people. Naked people, mostly. Because what do you find when you take away the shirts and neckties and socks and panties and hoodies and everything else? A fragile, beautiful, zany, temporary collection of stardust that will not be this way for very long. 

I think that’s worth documenting. So I do. I can make one little moment, one sliver of “right now,” last a whole lot longer. And I do this at the beach in South Carolina, of all places.

I use a pseudonym for my art to keep it separate from my other local business and to ensure my family’s privacy. My given name belongs to someone who runs other businesses, who has kids that are active in the community, who has to wave at neighbors (neighbors who might think art is just something you hang over a sofa, and only if it matches the drapes). People are people. You have to let them be. So I keep things separate. I’ll be glad to share more about me in an email or over the phone.
